We're gearing up for the most wonderful time of the year with some pretty great events - why not come and say hello?
Dartmouth Food Festival (18th-20th October) This free festival has over 120 exhibitors and a range of events for all the family. It is our 6th year here, we keep coming back for a very good reason! Lovely town with events throughout over the weekend. It's foodie heaven!
Mendip Christmas Fair (2nd-3rd November) Located near Bristol, why not visit us and get a head start on your shopping? With a range of stalls offering everything from clothing to gin (as well as tea and coffee from yours truly!), you can shop knowing you're supporting children's charities in the South West.
Lewtrenchard Christmas Fair (5th- 6th November) In the fantastic setting of Lewtrenchard Manor, first mentioned in the Domesday Book. Fundraising for the Devon Air Ambulance, this fair features a range of stalls offering everything you need for your Christmas shopping.
Michaelmas Fair at Powderham Castle (14th November) Set in the halls of the beautiful 14th Century Powderham Castle, this year is the Fair's 20th anniversary and promises an amazing range of stalls to celebrate. Raising money for ABF the Soldiers' Charity. 10am - 3pm
Hestercombe Gardens Christmas Fair (15th - 17th November) It is Tugboat's 3rd year at the wonderful Christmas market at Hestercombe House & Gardens near Taunton in the heart of Somerset. Featuring over 60 festive stalls bursting with beautiful gifts, delicious treats and unusual hand-crafted items.
A huge Christmas tree brimming with baubles will provide the backdrop for choirs performing carols in the Courtyard.
RHS Rosemoor Christmas Fair (22nd - 24th November) Beautiful gardens at RHS Rosemoor just outside Great Torrington in Devon. Tugboat attended this lovely fair last year for the first time - and we're back for more :) When night falls visitors to the fair can wander around the beautiful GLOW illuminations. A truly magical experience. Dynamic, colour-changing lights illuminate the trees, shrubs and sculptures.
Swindon Steam Museum Christmas Fair (30th Nov. - 1st Dec.) Tugboat will be at the Christmas Fair at Steam Museum Swindon again this year. We love this event - I'm usually next to the huge Caerphilly Castle steam engine.
Over 50 Christmas market stalls set amidst STEAM's fabulous story-telling displays and famous GWR locomotives.
Heligan Christmas Fair (6th - 8th December) Christmas is always a magical time at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Tugboat will be joining the fun for the first time this year at the Heligan Christmas Fair. Not only can you stock up on Christmas treats, but you can also enjoy entry to the gardens. Fabulous!
Truro Winter Gift Fayre (11th - 19th December) Tugboat returns to its home port of Truro for the lavish Winter Gift Fayre in Lemon Quay. One of Cornwall’s best known Christmas events, the Winter Gift Fayre will offer quality products throughout, visitors will enjoy a wonderful selection of craft, jewellery, art, food, drink and much more. And it is just around the corner to our compact, bijou, but perfectly formed shop - Tugboat HQ - on New Bridge Street. Pop in and say Hi :)
