We head off to Newton Abbot shortly for Devon's Abbfest. Running over 16th,17th and 18th of September the Festival kicks off on the Friday evening at 5pm with the start of the Beer Festival.
Both Saturday and Sunday continue with the Beer, Food and Music. Lots of producers, chef demonstrations and great food to try which can then be washed down with local brews (of which there are going to be lots to choose from).
This should be another great event with Abbfest with over 160 Devon brewed beers and ciders and 80 food and craft stalls. As you raise your glass, remember that Abbfest is more than a beer and food festival. It is a registered charity which uses the surplus from each festival to make grants to local charities and organisations. So not only do you get to eat great food and drink great brews, you also contribute to the charity through the money you spend. Will drink to that!
