the top hat infuser allows the leaves to swim and swell, fabulous for the larger leaf tea that doesn’t quite fit into the small ball infusers

I needed an infuser that would sit well in a larger than usual mug, which it does, without it tipping inside the mug. It is best used for large leaf teas and for fruit infusions because the holes are not fine. I use another type of infuser for the finer cut teas.
