Better late than never, UK Coffee Week has arrived- and to celebrate, we're donating 5% of all coffee sales between 19-25 October to Project Waterfall, which aims to provide clean water to coffee producing communities around the world. The aim of the project is unite the nation's coffee lovers in a common cause: to help those who produce the beans we enjoy so much.
Since 2011, Project Waterfall has raised over £1million to provide clean water for more than 34,000 people in coffee producing communities in Africa, Asia and South America. Currently, Project Waterfall is two years into a four-year project to provide sanitation, education and clean water to the rural Jabi Tehnan community in Ethiopia.
So no mater what your preferred coffee is, you can buy some this week knowing that your daily cup of java is helping those who helped make it!
