A Unique Flavour

I am most impressed with the taste and flavor of Yunnan Tea. I enjoy a strong cup of Tea with a little milk and Yunnan perfectly satisfies me. I generally prefer Indian Black Tea. but the Yunnan Chinese Black Tea is the exception. Tugboat sent me a sample, and I was delightfully surprised. On the strength of that sample I have bought two more packets of the tea. My favorite favorite teas are Assam and Darjeeling. Yunnan comes in between and makes an excellent brew.

A tea with character

The Tugboat free samples are a good way to broaden my tea palate. Which is how I came to acquire a larger bag of Yunnan. It has a lovely colour and a subtle flavour when served on its own but it’s also robust enough to drink with a small amount of milk. Enjoy.

Excellent

A bit like Russian Caravan but I think stronger flavour. I blend it with Assam to make a morning brew or on its own in the afternoon

Our all time favourite

We're Assam drinkers but the Yunnan has that little something extra. Delicious.
