    This hand processed tea is produced at the start of the season, when the first leaves and buds are picked, these are characterized by the pale gold threading. Considered by many to be one of the finest loose leaf black teas available, certainly it is quite beautiful to look at and has a lovely, full-bodied flavour with subtle hints of peach and honey. 

    Taste Notes : Pure Gold
    Black Tea

    Brewing :  Use one teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup and always use freshly boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste, depending on your preference for strength. Enjoy with or without milk.

    Been a favourite for some years now, terrific flavour, I make it in an infuser cup and it's perfect, I drink it golden with no milk

    Not Golden Monkey what I expected

    I gave this tea a good try for about a month now and I must say I'm still dissapointed as I was the first time I tried it.
    I don't know if I got some mixed batch, but the tea I received does not look like golden monkey tea from the picture above. The tea I got looks like a blend of about 95% low grade normal black tea and a few strands of golden monkey thrown into it. I had golden monkey tea before and this doesn't taste like I expected.
    I'd love to give a good feedback, but this is the true experience I got.

    The golden monkey tea is a new favourite of mine, free sample with my order was a lovely touch. I ordered 6 different teas and none have disappointed. Thank you Tugboat. I will be ordering again!

    This is a delicious tea, very smooth with soft flavour but not at all weak.
    The price is very fair and the delivery very good. I will order from Tugboat again. Love the name!
