Finely cut leaves give this tea added strength, this makes a lovely morning tea, rich and properly "tea tasting".
Taste Notes : Rich Tea Black Tea
Origin : Sri Lanka
Ingredients : Sri Lankan black tea
Brewing : Use one teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup and always use freshly boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste, depending on your preference for strength. Enjoy with or without milk.
Details : There are five different growing districts in Sri Lanka and each will have it’s own character. This Ceylon is from the low growing district of Ruhunu, an area known to produce full-bodied teas with lots of flavour. Leaves are graded according to size and the B.O.P. Grade - Broken Orange Pekoe - is a small, flat broken leaf with medium body. These B.O.P grades produce a darker cup and infuse faster than whole leaf teas ensuring a pungent and robust bodied cup of tea.
Delivery Information : Order before 1pm for same day shipping with Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. Shipping is free for orders over £30 ( £3.50 below £30 ).

I buy this and Assam leaf tea to replicate the Fortnum and Mason Royal Blend. I blend 2/3rd Ceylon and 1/3 Assam. Maybe bit less than 1/3 Assam but not an exact science. The result is far better than F&M blend! Ceylon Bop also excellent as a single blend.
robust black tea packs a punch
it's a winner in every tastebud department
This tea is my "go to" tea in the morning. It can be strong if you like your tea that way or mild as I have it. Either way it is a great tea and full of flavour.
Delicious tea which reminds me of time spent in Sri Lanka.
Lovely cup of tea
Have ordered a couple of times from tugboat and always enjoy the tea.
