Cons:

Tiny bits can escape, so it's not suitable for those who don't like bits at the bottom of the cup or for use with rooibos or very fine cut leaf tea, such as fannings
Slight faff to clean out

Tea Tongs for Tea Time

Very useful for single cups but can be a bit fiddley with potential loss of very small amounts of very precious tea. Some teas are very fine leading to small amounts of tea in the bottom of the cup (Ceylon BOP) but coarser blends such as russian caravan do well in this small shiny strainer. Other than that they are a worthy product that I would recommend.
