      We use a blend of China and Ceylon teas along with extra bergamot and corn flowers to create this superb, wonderfully balanced, classic loose leaf tea blend. For those that like their Earl Grey with a delicious, extra 'Oomph' of bergamot.

      TASTE NOTES : Extra Bergamot
      ORIGIN : China

      INGREDIENTS : China tea, cornflower petals, bergamot oil, natural flavour

      BREWING :  Use one teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup and always use freshly boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste, depending on your preference for strength. Enjoy with or without milk.

      NOTES : Earl Grey tea is a tea blend which has been flavoured with the addition of bergamot giving it a unmistakable citrus aroma and flavour. Said to have been created in honour of British Prime Minister Charles Grey in the 1830s. It’s a British Classic.

      Tasty and refreshing

      Found out about your teas when visiting a friend along with 2 other friends (school girl reunion😀) in Cornwall last year. We all took a sip at the same time and as if rehearsed we all said oh! What lovely tea!!! Speaks for itself. 😀😀😀

      Big on aroma, small on flavour

      It has a great hit of bergamot on the nose, but is sadly insipid on the tongue. I’m bulking it out with orange pekoe to get some flavour into it. I wish I hadn’t bought the 400g bag now. The lapsang is good though.

      The only Earl Grey I buy

      Absolutely love this Earl grey, fresh and full of flavour. I use it regularly for drinking but I also bake cakes using it and they turn out amazing!
