4 heaped tablespoons Winterberry Infusion
1 cup hot water
1 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbs brown sugar
1 bottle of red wine
Dash of sloe gin
Into a saucepan add the Winterberry Infusion, spices and sugar along with a glass of the red wine. Bring it to a rolling boil for a few minutes so it reduces a little, turn the heat down, add the rest of the wine, clementine segments and sloe gin, if you are using it, into the saucepan and heat gently for ten to fifteen minutes. When it’s warm and delicious, ladle it into glasses and serve.
